I received a letter from the hospital where I hold clinical privileges. The letter makes references to my causing disruptions in the hospital. Should I be concerned?

Speaker 1: Yes, you should. Any latter addressing your peer review process or your clinical privileges is a matter to be concerned about, especially one that might mention disruptions or that you may be a disruptive physician. The label of disruptive physician is one that can tarnish your reputation in the hospital and outside of the hospital. It can lead to further actions and further scrutiny by the medical staff of the hospital and by others as well, and can be reported to the Board of Medicine.

You should immediately contact with an experienced Health Law Attorney that represents physicians in clinical privileges matters and take his advice or her advice.
