Speaker 1: Currently in Florida, as in many other states, pain management physicians are under increased scrutiny by the departments of health of each state as well as the Drug Enforcement Administration. This is part of what has been called ‘The Opioid Crisis’. There is continuing scrutiny and possible disciplinary action to follow in order for the regulatory agencies to take action to help prevent the widespread of narcotic substances.
